Summer

In the summer months our establishment is an excellent starting point for terrific hiking, climbing and mountain biking excursions. The rustic mountain huts on the Karnische Kamm mountain ridge and in the Gail Valley Alps offer delicious, hearty meals. For those who prefer something more adventurous, there is a summer tobogganing track close by, as well as numerous opportunities to go paragliding or hang gliding. The adventure park in Sillian, the volcanic rock baths in St. Lorenzen or the water park in Innichen (Italy) are all no more than 25 km away. You can golf in the neighbouring area of Lienz, where there is a 27-hole course that will make the heart of any golfer who loves nature beat just that little bit faster. Fans of culture can look forward to compelling cultural and musical events such as the famous Gustav Mahler Weeks.
